Following their live debut in London on October 10, 2024, at The Next Stars (Engines Room), DKANDLE’s new single marks a pivotal chapter for the band. Founded as a solo project by Brazilian-born Denis Kandle in 2021, DKANDLE evolved into a dynamic trio in 2024 with the addition of Dutch bassist Gene Teysse (aka DJ Dragnet) and Italian drummer Stefano Cerri. Together, the band creates music that is both expansive and intimate, drawing from a rich tapestry of influences including shoegaze, grunge and post-punk. Their signature sound is characterized by haunting melodies, layered instrumentation, and evocative lyricism.
The new EP, "Under The Effect", featuring three tracks, represents the latest milestone in DKANDLE's artistic journey.
